- Accept it – The first thing to do is to accept that there is an issue and that you do tend to overreact to certain situations, news or people. Identifying the trigger may not be easy because sometimes the cause is not so evident. While you may be scared to meet people in a social gathering, the cause of the panic may not be the people but the underlying feeling of inadequacy that you have. However difficult it may be, facing up to the exact cause of the panic is another step by which you can deal with panic attacks.
- Stay healthy – A healthy body holds a healthy mind! It is important to eat four square meals in a day, avoid too much junk food, sugary or processed food and caffeine. The symptoms of panic shall also be muted when you have an attack if your body is otherwise healthy.
